“I don't have time”… over the course of my years in Business it's a statement I've heard hundreds of times 😅
Yet for all of us, days are made up of 24 hours, right? So what are the elements that make the difference?
Some might say it's just an excuse and that you're basically kidding yourself... that might be true but for me there's much more to it... follow me 😉
First of all, what would you need more time for?
You may not have time to do a lot of things: to see your friends as much as you would like, to read, to watch your TV series, to go to the gym, to travel, etc… do you know that? Are you aware of it?
DO YOU KNOW WHAT YOU WANT?
Because if you don't know it's like trying to reach a destination without knowing its exact location… Not even Google Maps saves you 😂
For example… if I asked you, “Would you like to build a quality life where you have all the time to do everything you love?” what would you say?
You could basically answer me in four ways:
- Absolutely yes
- I'm already full and happy as I am now
- It depends on what I should do
- It would be nice but I stopped dreaming once I became an adult
Let's say that apart from the written answer to the second point, all the others can certainly be worked on 😉
Once we have found the “WHAT” we want, what is the next step?
The second fundamental question we are called to answer in my opinion is; “WHY SHOULD I DO IT?”
If you don't have a motivation that drives you It's like trying to make a Ferrari go 300km/h without petrol... the truth is that you wouldn't even be able to start the car 😂
But if you are interested in understanding how you can “multiply” your available hours then continue to follow me 😉
If you think you have a Why can you tell yourself how strong it is? If you had to give a rating on a scale of 1 to 10, what would you answer?
If we are close to 10 for me we are on the right path, you are already starting with the right energy level which I consider fundamental if you want to materialize this intent in your life.
I'll tell you something shocking (or maybe not); You are the creator of your reality and there is nothing you cannot do.
But let's go back to the initial challenge... now you could tell me "Ok Davide, I understood What I Want and I found my Why... but now?"

Let's do some math together, shall we?
So we said… the day is made up of 24 hours
- We take away at least 8 hours of sleep and we have 16 hours left
- We subtract the 8 hours of daily work and add another 2 hours to go to and from the office. We are left with 6 hours.
- Let's say that between dinner, housework, children, another 3 hours are taken up...
IN THESE CALCULATIONS THERE ARE 3 AVAILABLE
What do you do in these 3 empty hours?
Now it may certainly be that you do many more things than what I wrote a moment ago but one thing is certain… we have 3 modes to use our time:
- We can spend it (e.g. cinema, restaurants, aperitifs, shopping, etc.)
- We can use it for non-productive activities (e.g. lounging on the couch, scrolling through Instagram feeds or Facebook posts, watching a series on Netflix, etc.)
- We can invest it (read personal/professional growth books, attend training courses, etc.)
Now be honest and answer this question…
How much time do you spend, how much time do you use for non-productive activities and how much time do you invest?
Do it thinking about your classic 24h 😉
Would you like a trick to recover time?
Now I'm going to reveal to you a trick that I use very often in my everyday life; I PUT MY TIME INTO LEVERAGE 😊
You know all those hours spent on public transport, in the car, while cooking… those are perfect moments to invest your time listening to podcasts and/or videos that you believe can bring you added value 💪
It happened to me very often to accompany my trips with beautiful training courses ... then of course ... we always use discernment, while driving the car it is essential to also remain attentive and alert so it is advisable to listen only to vocal notes.
After all, as they say, "desperate times call for desperate measures" 😎
If I understood WHAT I want, if I have a big WHY it is very important that I set up my day in such a way as to set out towards my destination and therefore I am "obliged" to invest time in this thing.
Conclusion

- close the blog continuing your life as usual
- or you say to yourself “the time has come to change something”… of course… you will also have to develop new habits but that is another topic.
